Santa and then some...

They had so much fun playing with these blue hats at a friend's house. Cohen put that hat on without hesitation and wore it most of the two hours we were there. He even picked up the broom and turned into the perfect house guest.

Cohen's third haircut. He sat the entire time with no squirming or fussing. So proud of him.

Santa!! He actually liked hugging him but just not for as long as I made him hold that hug so I could get my phone out.

Catching up

Some pictures from the last month.

We have too much fun with a blow dryer.

We had fall pictures taken and will hopefully have those up shorty. This is Cohen striking a pose.

She made pumpkin cookies for her class. That was fun!

Lazy Sunday afternoon nap time.

Christmas tree hunt. They had so much fun running amongst the trees.

The finished product. Only about 4 broken ornaments so far.

Random happenings.

We love us some Jason's Deli ice cream. Addison has done well mastering the cone. She is however the SLOWEST ice cream licker EVER!

We had a party in Asheville and Cohen wanted to play on the corn hole game. That made it really hard to play without docking our child. He was just mad he had to get off.

Mommy love!

This really is a stretch for my creativity but we had fun walking around the neighborhood gathering leaves to make our own tree. Cohen didn't understand we were only picking up the pretty ones. He gave me a lot of leaf trash.

Cohen's costume that Addison likes to play in. I want to find a banana one for her.

Sigmon family reunion

We went to Bryson city, NC for our annual family reunion. It was so wonderful to be around such loving and giving people. I receive so much joy watching others love on my children and seeing our children's faces light up when being around them. It was the perfect weather, a little chill in the morning and evening but warmed up in the middle of the day. We went on a small hike with the kids and they loved it. I am so thankful that our family is creating so many wonderful memories each year as we gather together. I love you Sigmon family!!

Tough times and sweet moments.

This age with both kids is an incredibly tough age for us right now! So exhausting fighting the same battles every day and feeling so defeated at the end of the day. I have found myself having no where else to go but the Word of God which is not a bad pace to go. I don't know why it takes me so long to get there sometimes but when I go to the source of all strength and wisdom I find it in abundance. It's never lacking! Praise you Lord for not holding grudges against my inconsistent communication! He always refreshes and replenishes weary souls!

So amidst these trying times with our children are bunches of sweet moments. They give me hope for a brighter tomorrow :) Here is just a couple.

My two babies!

At preschool this week they are focusing on the letter O. On Wednesday they had to wear orange. Cohen got in the spirit as well. They are so cute and so big!! Where did time go!?!?

You can see why I have to pinch and kiss on those chubby cheeks all day long!

Baths,bubbles, and more.

We have been staying fairly busy with Addison in preschool and Ryan at HIS office. We do always manage to have time for bubbles and baths! They LOVE bubbles and bath...not together.

Addison is teaching Cohen how to blow bubbles but he still finds it tastier to put it in his mouth. Tastes so gross! I don't know how he stands it?!?!

I think their favorite part about the bath is running around naked after with a towel on their heads.

We got wireless headphones for the car! Yay! Now they can watch a movie and we can listen to music at the same time!

The new office

We are officially business owners and it feels good but also overwhelming. God has been soo faithful to us! When his timing was right everything fell into place. He has been there for one full month now and things have gone on with no major bumps! Amazing! His staff and patients have been so welcoming. We did do some minor but important updates to the office space like painting, floors and decor. We also added ceiling mounted TV's and a Coffee station in the waiting room. Here are some pictures of the office.

One of the operatories.

There was carpet in here.

New waiting room.

View from the receptionist desk.

My man's office. That's the cleanest the desk will ever be.

Coffee station.

Our new name and logo! It's been branded!

And we're back!

I finally got this app that allows me to post from my phone which is the only thing that will save my blog since it is apparently so hard for me to sit down at the computer and post something. So here are some random pictures from the summer.

We went to Hilton head for some beach time! We celebrated my 30th birthday! Such a great time in my life!

My love of 6 years now!

They love the park. Cohen tries to keep up with Addison.

First day of preschool! I didn't cry and she was so excited to go. She LOVES it!

Stay tuned for more frequent updates!

Moving to Hickory!

Hello everyone! Here is a little update on where we are in life.  We live in Conover but the neighboring town is called Hickory, only 10 min away. We are buying a dental practice in Hickory and Ryan takes ownership at the beginning of August.  We are so excited and at peace with this big decision. We have been praying for two years for direction and a plan for Ryan's career and the Lord never fails! He has provided for us this entire time and this answer to prayer gives us such grateful hearts! It will probably be 8 months before we purchase our first home but I can't help but look at listings already.  Here are some pictures from the last month or so.

Cohen will be one on June 26th and Addison 2 1/2!! Can't believe it. On and let us not forget Ryan will be 30!!! He is still rocking 25 though!
Cohen started walking with assistance about two months ago and has walked up to 17 steps without help but with a lot of coaxing.  He has yet to completely  take off on his own. He has a large vocabulary and says, mama, dada, ball, cracker, coco (Cohen), papa, book, and bye bye. He has so much personality and very determined to do things his way.  He loves to crawl and climb on anything and everything.  He brings us so much joy and laughter.

Addison is such a big girl and sister.  She always puts on her shoes by herself.  She loves to help me cook and bake and loves to feed Cohen.  She is a good picker upper and likes things tidy. We finally have hair long enough to sport a pony tail. yay!! She surprises me every day with things she says. She has a precious heart and sings to her brother when he is sad or has a hard time going to sleep. I am trying not to blink with her so hopefully I won't miss a thing!

 Cohen's stank face.
Addison loves going to the playground.  Her favorite thing is the slide.
 She looks so mature here!!
Someone asked me is she had a front tooth missing. No it's just her sweet gap.

Cohen has 4 top  teeth and 2 bottom and 2 lower molars.

Here is my stud man! He could totally sport 25! So handsome.  We just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this past May.
Koolaide smile!

He had the best time playing in that bucket of water.
